Google+ has been a popular subject for the past few weeks. This new social network is growing very fast. Popular tech celebrities already boasts thousands of followers (in circles). If you are one of the avid fans of Google+ and want to get your profile more exposure by adding a profile widget to your WordPress blog, then you have come to the right place. GoogleCards plugin adds a widget to your blog that will display a link to your google+ profile so people can add you to a circle (follow you). It also displays your name, profile picture and the number of people who have you in circles.

When setting up the widget, you need to make sure you have the correct page type selected. For example, I used the GreenGeek’s business page in Google+ in this tutorial. If I changed the page type to “profile” in the widget, it would become blank. This will depend on how you set up the Google+ profile in the beginning.
