A Kanban board is a visualization workflow tool that helps you optimize your processes and track the progress of each task, regardless of how complex it is. Simple Kanban boards are made up of three columns, To Do, In Progress, and Done. In the workflow process, each column represents a different stage. In the respective column, you can add individual tasks. The individual task item moves horizontally across the board as each step is carried out until the Done column is reached. The workflow ends here and the project is regarded as complete.

Yanado doesn’t change your default Gmail inbox view into a Kanban board. Rather, it keeps the default view the same but tucks a Kanban project and task management board cleanly away behind that view. To assign an email to one of the lists on that board (such as Open, Doing, and Done), you simply work within the Gmail inbox view you’re already used to: Select an email and click the “Add as Task” Yanado button to add it to the list, without leaving your inbox. This makes it easy to process multiple emails at once. Then, whenever you want, you can click the Yanado button to switch to the board view to see your lists, add new tasks, and more.
